Christina Aguilera will offer Keeps Getting Better: A Decade of Hits on November 11 exclusively at Target stores. Along with popular songs like "Dirty," "Come On Over" and "Hurt," the collection will include new versions of "Genie in a Bottle" and "Beautiful," titled "Genie 2.0" and "You Are What You Are (Beautiful)," plus two brand new songs: "Keeps Getting Better" and "Dynamite." The new tunes will serve as a sneak preview of Aguilera's next studio album, which is due in summer 2009.
"With my last album, I had music that was very '20s, '30s and '40s, and was very detailed and part of a very specific genre and sound," she told Billboard.com. "But with this new album, I wanted to go in a completely opposite direction - a very futuristic, robotic sound and computer-sounding vocals. I'm experimenting with my voice in ways I've never done before, almost like a technical, computer-generated sound, which is different for me because I'm the type of vocalist that just belts. I'm always inspired by new things because I get bored."
Aguilera added that she is mainly working with producer Linda Perry, who also produced the new and remixed tracks on Keeps Getting Better. She said the new tracks boast "futuristic sounds with beats driven more toward dance music" and added that "This time around, I'm playing with this superhero element based on the fact that fans have grown up with me since I was 17 and have continually supported my changes throughout the years."
Aguilera is planning to tour in 2009.

Christina Aguilera wants to show her son she is a “super-b***h”.
The ‘Dirrty’ singer – who gave birth to her first child with husband Jordan
Bratman in January – insists becoming a parent hasn’t changed her attitude
and she is looking forward to showing Max her feisty on stage persona.
She said: “I’m not going to go down the safe route because I have had a
child. Motherhood hasn’t changed me.
“It’s like the line in my new single, ‘Keeps Getting’ Better’, says, ‘I’m
still a super-b***h.’
“I want to be the best mom I can be but I also want to show my son who I am
as a person, not just this woman who changes diapers and breast feeds.”
Christina is set to play the Africa Rising Festival in London this week and
is looking forward to unveiling her new baby-inspired live show.
She added: “This is my first concert since I had Max and I can’t wait for
everybody to see the full Christina show. It’s an incredible balancing act
being a mom.
“But he’s the inspiration behind my new music, my new sound and even my new
look.
“It’s all about playfulness and having fun now.”

Katy Perry Outsing Christina???
Katy Perry Talks Out-Singing Christina Aguilera, Working With Boyfriend Travis McCoy

If Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera ever found themselves in the unlikely situation of a sing-off, Perry says that maybe — just maybe — she can use her background in gospel to take on the blond pop star on known for her strong vocal abilities.
“If Christina Aguilera wanted to have a run-off, I could maybe muster up that soul, that gospel that I grew up in,” she told MTV UK. Perry, whose parents are evangelical Christian preachers, grew up in the church. But, ultimately, the “I Kissed a Girl” singer admits that even with gospel in her soul, she can’t compete with Aguilera’s killer pipes. “No, I can’t,” she admitted.
Another collaboration the 23-year-old burgeoning pop star — who just released the video for her next single “Hot N Cold,” in which she plays a runaway bride — doesn’t see happening anytime soon is one with her boyfriend, Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy. But, she wasn’t talking marriage — she just doesn’t see them making music together anytime soon. “I think they have their lane and I have mine,” she said, adding, “He’s got responsibilities to a bunch of other people and his band, and I kind of am solo.”
But if anything musical were to happen between Perry and her beau McCoy, she feels it would be a duet between just the two of them — the rest of the Gym Class Heroes wouldn’t be invited to the party. “So if we did it, I think it would be him and I,” she explained. “But don’t ever [rule out] anything.”
